All of the areas destroyed by the hurricane should not be re-built. The Pres. should declare it a National Sea-shore Monument, to be preserved for the future.
"... no choice but to raise taxes"??? Have politicians ever thought of reducing spending so taxes would not be raised? I realize the word "thought" is an oxymoron for a politician, but could they give it a try?
