Please tell us that no human over the age of 10 could be so ignorant.
If we, the buyers in the U.S., refused to buy garments produced in countries where human safety is not a high priority (we all know about these issues), then improvements would have to be made. When our nation was in its beginnings, colonial women made their own clothing because of unfair taxes and other practices in England. We could do the same now. I do not shop at Walmart, or Sears. If enough consumers protested via refusal to buy goods, it would have an impact.
