USC easily beat the utes, who loss to Notre Dame. Notre Dame struggled beating BYU by three.
A little positive for the year, for the bowl bound cougar team.

Ah yes, the Additive Rule of Football, better known as BYU Logic. The idea that Team A beat Team B, and Team B beat Team C, therefore Team A would beat Team C. So the theory says that since Notre Dame beat USC who beat Utah while that same Notre Dame team "barely" beat BYU, therefore BYU would beat Utah.
The only problem with your logic is that BYU did play Utah. Utah won. Three times, in fact. So there goes that theory.
