Spirit of Christmas lives on ? HA!! Not in this "atheist turning" country. Every time you turn around the atheists are removing Jesus from public display and that trend will continue. I went to Wallmart in mid September needing to buy a sprinkler part and the entire garden section was cleaned out and replaced with Christmas stuff. SEPTEMBER!! The "real" spirit of Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ - something that is hard to say in public anymore without getting sued!!
Black Friday has ruined Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the entire period in between. It is nothing but a false and commercial left-wing festival in which young parents try to buy their children’s love by spending money they don’t have for things they don’t need. Ironically, this doesn’t create love, it creates greed, avarice, and discontent. Indeed, it is a large part of the cause of the epidemic of spoiled brats that has inundated society.
It is no coincidence that the left spends such effort promoting Black Friday. As mentioned previously, this false holiday spreads discontent and ruins family relationships. It also takes something that should be a spiritual time and turns it into a secular celebration of materialism.
Re:JCSpring
What nonsense.
Corporations are now leftist? The Walton family are Democrats?
People in UT don't buy Christmas gifts?
Black Friday is free enterprise.
(For the record, i've never shopped on Black Friday, and i'm not happy that one of our family members will have to go to work on Thanksgiving).
