Who did the switcheroo? This was not the same FSU team that lost to South Alabama in Week 1. FSU is a legit Sweet Sixteen team that will contend for the ACC title. Very impressive team!
I'm not one to complain about the refs. I've reffed games before and it's a difficult to see everything that is happening so fast. But three of Brandon's four fouls could have gone either way. Without him on the court for big chunks of time we are not the same team. I still don't think we could've won, but I would have loved to see the game with Brandon playing 30 - 32 minutes instead of about 20 minutes.
Carlino struggled . . . not sure he's much ahead of last year.
Haws was the star.
Cusick is the only player who played above what I expected, and maybe Calvery, but I'm still not sure what to expect from him.
Carlino tries to do too much a lot of times which either results in turnovers or bad shots. He could learn a few things from Cusick in this regard. Cusick doesn't make a lot of mistakes. Not quite sure what happened to Sharp tonight. It seemed like the team never was in synch. Florida State's defense had a few things to do with the Cougars' problems. Plus Florida State's shots were dropping all night.
