Well, one thing is for certain. You don't want to trust your data to a private company. They may promise privacy to get your business, but they reserve the right to sell information about you later.

Wonder how various political and business get information about you. They data mine the information databases they purchase from various businesses.

So, don't trust the government? OK. But don't trust private businesses either. They'll sell you down the river before you know what hit you. It's all about profit to them.

Securing data on computers is an ongoing issue and obviously a tough one for both private industry as well as Govt.
