The Jazz looked a little better on the road against a good team. Some people are going to be critical of Mo Williams taking the shot on the last 2 or 3 possessions of the game when he was having an off shooting night. I was ok with Williams showing the leadership and putting it on himself to score late in the game even though hit shots didn't fall. On any given night I feel Mo is a go to guy that will make a lot of those shots but it just didn't happen tonight.

Mo had a bad night shooting. So be it! Why not put in Foye and utilize his shooting skills at the end of the game. Bad coaching error.

Foye is not a bad option for a game winning shot but on average I don't think he can create his own shot as well as Mo. Mo had good shots last night at the end, they just didn't fall. Foye had a great night the game before in Toronto and he was called on for the last shot to tie the game and send it to overtime, but he tried to go up against 2 defenders that had him covered and he couldn't even get the shot off. He passed to Jefferson instead to try and hit a three pointer to tie and that is definitely not the shot you want. Luckily, he did hit a once in a lifetime shot to send the game into overtime and eventually win. Foye can run off picks or sometimes get good shots in the flow of the offense, but I still think Mo is a better choice when you need someone to create their own shot..

Good coments and logic but not on a night when Mo's shooting percentage is terrible.

Well if you look at the shooting percentages for Foye and Williams last night, Foye was 2 for 6 for 33% and before Mo took the last 2 shots in question he was 6 for 17 for 35%. So when it came time to decide who was going to take any last shots Williams was shooting better than Foye. After Williams missed the last 2 shots he ended up shooting 6 for 19 for 32%, but the point remains he was shooting a better percentage than Foye leading up to the final shots. If we could replay the game and Foye took the shot he might have scored but my point is that overall Mo Williams is a pretty good player to go to late in the game and I'm sure we will see games he wins this year.

Look at the substitution patterns and minutes. Tired people make mistakes at the end of ball games. Corbin didn't learn anything last year.

I don't get the "tired players" comment. These are pros paid millions of dollars to be in shape to finish games. If you "rested" players at the end of games because they played the most minutes you will have Kobe, Lebron and the best players in the league sitting on the bench at the end of games when you need them on the floor. Every coach in the league will play their best players the most minutes and I'm pretty sure Mo had enough left in the tank to finish the game
