We need to hear more from those working on the "frontlines" of our healthcare system.
Thank you, Dr. Metcalf for taking the time to write and for sharing your experiences with legislators.
The legislature must act to opt into medicaid expansion without resorting to ideological excuses and right wing political dogma.
The problem is the cost of care. Shifting the cost to someone else is not a solution. "Right wing political dogma" that asks where is the money coming from is responsible. Left wing political dogma that the government can spend recklessly results in a Greek tragedy.
