Would be fantastic if it worked!
Fantastic! It works!
54 yards!!!
Great game! Congratulations to Manti Templars! 16 - 13 in overtime!
what happened in the Manti fumble that San Juan recovered and it was given back to Manti on their original line of scrimmage without even losing the down?????
woohoo Manti!!! How freaking awesome was that. 54 yarder in OT to win the game.
EJB - Inadvertent whistle. Big break for Manti.
EJB What you had was an inadvertent whistle. The referee (white hat) blew the play dead prematurely. The resolution for the whistle because there had been no true change of possession the team in possession prior to the whistle has the option to take the ball at the point where the whistle blew or replay the down. Manti had possession prior to the whistle they had the options, there best option was to replay the down.
The group of guys I was with at the time thought it was the biggest game changer they had seen in a long time. SJ with the ball at the 18, 5 plays later SJ had the ball on its own 5, 95 Yards away.
I as official have had 2 of them, one 8 years ago and again one this year. Mine weren't that huge but still very unfortunate.
