Thanks for the great story.
I know last year's team made a great run and had great talent and experience. This year's team has great chemistry and also great talent and despite the lack of experience with many players has came together. Coach Chambers is very sincere in his praise for these players and how he wants to win the whole thing for a community that has rallied around this team.
Coach Chambers has put together a nice coaching staff on all levels. Kevin Niccoll, formerly from Olympus HS staff, was hired to call the defense. This unit has especially improved over recent years. The offense was always high scoring but now with a defense that is tough-minded, the Dons made that one step to the championship game which has eluded them in their school's history. They will definitely be a tough out for either Juan Diego or Dixie next week.
