The fiscal cliff has been faked for 40 years and its time that all(all) americans and foreign nationals pay their fair share of funds for SSA services and cost of operation.
This fiscal cliff really doesn't exist except as political pandering and posturing. Nothing is okay and the states and federal government is in collapse because of inflation, overspending, corruption, fraud, and lies at every level. What does it matter who keeps us in poverty? Taxes have to go up to substation federal and state government expansion and this restoration of payroll deductions will not deter or stop other tax increases planned.
This fake fiscal cliff is a tax lie. Restoring the SSA deductions will reduce personal taxes to the IRS and they will loose the tax increase created by higher taxable incomes. Funding SSA has been a part of the payroll deductions for personal benefit for 75 years and all of a sudden the SSA has to be defunded to raise taxes on take home pay. There is more talk and lies about raising taxes for SSA but all they need to do is restore payroll deductions.
