Jordan should win this game by at least 21 points, they are that much better than everyone left in the playoffs.
Congrats to Region 3 on the state championship, barring major injuries Jordan should run away with the title this year.
I agree Jordan should win easy.
I was at the game last year and Lone Peak does not have Chase Hansen, Zac Saunders, Tafua, Humphries, Hanneman, etc.
Those guys were pretty clutch.
I think Saunders kept them in the game with his kick return and long TD catch until Chase could take over in the fourth quarter to beat Jordan last year.
Jordan is well coached and talented.
Should be an easy win.
Jordan is the favorite!
But I stil think Bingham has a solid chance to win,
But Bingham has to beat Syracuse first.
But if Bingham can beat the same Cottonwood team by 20 and 30 who should of beat Jordan this year I really like the Miners chances, but main focus is the CUSE.
Do and next weeks game of the Salt Lake Teams will be a great one.
Jordan is the team to beat, the funny thing is that the preseason hype was all about their passing game but they can just run and run. Their ground game is so much better than anticipated, and if you dare them to throw, they can do that too.
They are good
plyxply,
Beating cottonwood by 2 points didnt scare anyone of Jordan, especially
Bingham Syracuse or Lone PEAK.
Alta gave you a game and lets see Syracuse just beat them, and Bingham can beat Alta.
I agree its Jordans to Lose, but dont doubt Bingham or Cuse.
They have defenses who can stop the run unlike everyone else you have played all season long.
Your moss boy wont have 3 touchdowns against either of those defenses.
But yes I see it being Jordan vs Bingham next week.
With Jordan finally getting a chance to show everyone HOW GOOD THEY ARE! ha
Jordan 45 Lone peak 13
Bingham 31 Syracuse 17
Then they should move that game to RIO TINTO, and have a pack sold out Rio Tinto for that game! would be a much easier drive then up to the U. ha
I think Bingham's excellent coaching and play-off experience plus Syracuse losing their QB will be hard for Syracuse to overcome. With their QB, Syracuse wins this one. Jordan's game is a very interesting one because LP's Quarterback no doubt brought his play book over from Jordan, where he played last year. You can watch film all you want, but having the actual plays mapped out for you is huge with routes and blocking schemes, etc. However, most plays work on paper anyway if you execute them, and Jordan's O-line is big, smart and nasty. This could turn out to be a great game.
Jordans offense is pretty vanilla. Their run game is all zone read and sweep. Their pass game is crossing routes with a few verticles thrown in to keep teams honest. The biggest difference is their O-Line, however there is a hole in that armor if teams can take advantage and expose it. Their O-line while big and physical, are slow and if you have a quick D-Line that can get off the ball it causes problems for their offense, if you add to that disciplined Linebackers that can sit home and make good reads then you can stop this offense. This was the recipe that Cottonwood used as well as West Jordan in two close games (say what you want but West Jordan had them on the ropes in the second half). I think Bingham has the type of defense to give Jordan fits, and I don't think Syracuse stands a chance against Binghma. The championship game should be good. My pick is Bingham over Jordan 35-31.
