Enough people google it ... and yeah the image is at risk.
Michael Otterson takes what was an opportunity for reaching out and makes it sound like it was an ordeal. With that kind of self-confidence, it probably was for him. Mormonism is not an alien civilization and its adherents need to stop thinking like second-class citizens.
I think here in the hinterlands, we have seen an overall improvement in how well the church is known and the image generally.
