Part of what is so impressive about Dunn's three touchdowns in two games is that last game, against Cal, he had two returns for a touchdown. Then in this game, against Washington State, Dunn only had one opportunity all game because Wazzou only kicked off once time, and he returned that one opportunity for a touchdown. That is impressive!
With how easy Dunn and his blockers make it look, it seems that 4 in a career shouldn't be the record. It is a great testament to how good these boys are at their job that they accomplished the feat in 2 days.
He is an amazing athlete! Congrats Reggie !
Congrats Reggie!
It has got to feel amazing to look at the NCAA record books and see your name up there above Sanders, Harris, Boykins, and the rest.
I was stunned to see that Washington State's only kickoff was returned for a 100 yard touchdown. You would think they had Reggie Dunn's moves on film after last week's game against Cal. Let's see if he can do it again against Washington.
He Dunn run long ones.
Congratulations to Reggie and the rest of the kick off team blocking for him.
This is a pretty amazing record to hold. There are some awesome names on that list that Reggie now sits on top of.
With a few more games on the schedule, I hope you can find your way into the endzone a few more times.
Keep up the good work and get this team to a bowl game!
Go Utes!
The way the defense is playing now, and the way UW has been moving the ball offensively, not likely to have many chances to return, so just like this game, make your chance(s) count!
You know, I called Dunn being a breakout player from his freshman year. I really wish he would have started doing this two years ago....He would get so excited with throws and turn to early and drop the ball. It's good to see him improve at least and be very likely to go to the NFL.
cedarcityute, Reggie hasn't been here since his freshman year, he was a JC transfer.
You forgot Steve Odom in your poll. Although I was only about 10 years old at the time, he was very exciting to watch return punts.
