An excellent letter. But this is Utah, so only "liberals" will give any heed to it.
I'm looking forward to the end of the silly season.
While I certainly share this writer's main point, I would say that there's been a fairly good potential for comedy, if we know where to look for it. I figure; if these guys aren't interested in governing, the least they can do is amuse us.
I am looking forward to the end of annoying idiotic robocalls from Mia Love and someone named Mitt Romney on her behalf, when I do not even live in the 4th congressional district. I am so tired of hearing Mia's and Mitt's pre-recorded voices on the line after I have dropped things and run to catch the phone. Please, I do not live in your district. Stop the harassing phone calls!
i have yet to hear ONE commercial for Mia Love and what she would do.
It's ALWAYS and attack bash on Rep. Matheson.
Seriously -- what would she do other than Me too for Romney.
And what about reality?
Like when Pres. Obama is re-elected?
Utah will have lost yet another voice back in Washington, and gained yet another American obstructionist.
If you want to stop the mudslinging. Work to stop the obscene flow of unlimited political money now permitted by decision of the U.S. Supreme Court. You can't mudsling if you don't have any means to throw it around. Those robocalls have to be paid for.
Christine, I echo your sentiments. Now it is URGENT you support an amendment to eliminate the Citizens United ruling. Corporations are not people, money is not speech. This election, more than anytime in our history is all about who government is going to benefit most. The HAVES or the MASSES. Sorry, they aren't the same thing.
