Letter: Require open hearings of record for allegations of misconduct

    One complaint from someone found guilty of a crime? What con doesn't think they were mistreated by the system, judges, etc.

    I think it would take a pattern of complaints to have an open hearing, and at that point it should be done.

    One person's sour grapes does not necessarily equal allegations of misconduct.

    Open hearing should be held for ANY allegations of misconduct by public servants -- it cannot be restricted to judges only.
