As the Massachusetts governor, he got through his 4 years working together and not forming a gridlock with 80 percent of the legislature Democrats. Was everything perfect? Probably not but they got things accomplished due to suggestions and concessions. That is the way business is, whether in government or in actual productive business.
It requires someone to be a leader and it appears that Mitt Romney accepted that responsibility and challenge. He was vetted in 1994 running against Ted Kennedy who belong to a Dynasty in Massachusetts. He didn't win but he got people's attention in Massachusetts and within the Republican Party.
He kept on plugging away at his business and businesses until the 2002 Winter Olympics Organizing Committee needed desperate help, yesteray.
Mitt Romney met the qualifications as he knew how to reach out to the community, businesses, governments and diplomats at all levels to help keep the task on line. Everything was going fine and on course, until 9/11/2001 happened, only months before people would start showing up prior to the Olympics.
The Olympics isn't a storm, but the impact of having a security compromise, either before, during or after the Olympics was a significant factor.
Not if the Democrats act like little children as the republicans have done for four years.
Obama's biggest problem was believing that the he could work with both sides.
He allowed the republicans to change and add to bills that they then voted against,
because their job one was to make Obama a one term president.
Bigger question should be when Obama wins a second term will the suddenly co-operative republicans try and work together or continue to drag America down as sore losers?
libs, not all democrats are children. the problem with the dems is that libs have taken over the party
