Jerry Sloan? Was his name left out intentionally? If not, that is a huge boo-boo and bad journalism. IMO, he is the most significant reason for the jazz staying competitive all these years. If not for him, I doubt stockton-malone combo would have stayed together so long and played together so well. Yes, no other coach could have extracted as much as he did from that duo. True, he fell just short of the pinnacle achievement. But it is the consistency of success that we are talking about here. For that...he was the ultimate reason. And for the article not even mentioning his name is unpardonable!
