@spring street - you might do just a little research before rejecting known facts. It's not just Fox News. Probably every credible news outlet has verified every single point I've made. Watching MSNBC is probably the only way to have missed it.

I never denied that President Obama lumped the incident with "acts of terror." So far, no administration official has been able to reconcile those comments to the subsequent 2 weeks of comments by Susan Rice, Jay Carney, Hillary Clinton, and even President Obama himself that, quoting from Susan Rice, "the best information we have today is that in fact this was not a preplanned, premeditated attack. That what happened initially was that it was a spontaneous reaction to what had just transpired in Cairo as a consequence of the video."

I don't believe our intelligence agency is really that incompetent. Amateurs all over the world, including blowhard political pundits, quickly saw it was clearly a pre-planned terrorist attack, not attached to the video, but the world's greatest intelligence agency was fooled. Right.

And, there's NO footage of 9/11 protest activity in Benghazi over the video. Show one source. That's a lie.

Vice-President Biden is very giving, $300.00 a year each for the past 4 years is quite a bit of giving for a man that is our second in command.

I guess Obama and Biden will be getting into their pocketbooks to help out.

Seeing the picture of Governor Romney helping prepare supplies is the kind of leadership I admire in a person. He knows how to work and shows it with a smile as physically working, not just mentally working.

He is the kind of man that shows what President Truman said, "The buck stops here."

I haven't heard of Governor Romney ever backing out of an assignment. He has given so much of his life for good causes. He has been a leader that motivated people to volunteer and help others in humanitarian types of ways.

He set the example of "Do It!" He didn't have to delegate everything but other people got involved by him delegating the resources available to him for a project.

A smile that is sincere is what Governor Romney shows and that is because he has a loving wife that supports him in all of his duties and jobs. She is there helping him and his 5 sons with their extended family and still have time to become our President and put up with that process for at least the next 4-years.

He has so many qualities that espouse of leadership, proven time again.

"We know there were no protests at the Benghazi consulate on Sept. 11 over the anti-Muslim video. "

really and how do you know that,? the available video tells a different story. the attack was not due to the protest but it does not mean there where no protest.

"We know the administration was privy to real-time coverage of the attack."

If we know that the attack was monitored in real time the way you keep claiming then it should be easy for you to point to the evidence to prove it.

"We know the administration asserted as "fact" for 2 weeks that the attack was a spontaneous mob reaction to an obscure video. We know that was not true."

Really then why did Obama call it an act of terror the next day in the rose garden and twice the next day in denver and nevada? check the transcripts its right there.

The couple of facts you post are not disputed your right but the rest of your claims still lack any evidence to support them or evidence that proves them an outright lie. Sorry

@Tolstoy - you close your eyes to evidence.

We know that Ambassador Stevens was concerned about increased violence and wanted increased security, which was ultimately denied and reduced.

We know there was no reinforcement of security on the anniversary of 9/11, despite the growing concern about violence.

We know there were no protests at the Benghazi consulate on Sept. 11 over the anti-Muslim video.

We know the attack was a pre-planned terrorist attack, and not a spontaneous mob reaction to an obscure video. We know the administration was privy to real-time coverage of the attack.

We know the administration asserted as "fact" for 2 weeks that the attack was a spontaneous mob reaction to an obscure video. We know that was not true.

We know that Tyson Woods wanted to help rescue victims, and was told to "stand down," but heroically defied those orders.

These are all indisputable facts, which you have been reported over and over and over.

Additionally, only the most gullible people on the planet buy Obama's tale that they released information as they received it, and everything they said was based on the "best intelligence" available at the time.

what evidence? where is it? Show me the evidence? I have been asking for days and not one shred of actual evidence has come forward from any of you. Unsubstantiated claims are just that unsubstantiated. SHow us the evidence.

@George - to non-ostriches, there is plenty of evidence to support the claims being made by the slain soldier's father. Pretty much all documentation of events has been provided by whistleblowers, not the administration. The question is whether there is any evidence that contradicts the claims being made by the slain soldier's father. So far, there is not.

Since the administration won't divulge anything about the incident until conveniently after the election, it seems that he and reality deniers like you are exploiting a "politicization" narrative to maintain the support of the most blindly partisan and to gain the support of the gullible.

As sad and tragic as this young mans death is there is no evidence to support the claims being made by his father, or conspiracy theorist like you that are exploiting his death. and his fathers obvious grief. So you will forgive me if I stand by my original statement.

"I really do not appreciate the two of you using this tragedy ...."

If what the father of former Navy Seal Tyrone Woods is true this man gave his life trying to protect Ambassador Christopher Stevens. If Obama withheld the backup Tyrone Woods was expecting when he targeted the enemy with a laser the American voters will make the appropriate decision on Nov. 6th.

B-T-W, it was the CIA who leaked this story. Obama tried to throw them under the bus over this story and they decided to get even.

I agree with tolstoy it is hard to know what someone considers a personal insult when someone constantly changes their claims. I would also add that as was pointed out previously the research is very clear.

lack of disrespect for the fact that your claims about yourself change based on the angle you are taking on a particular thread?

    @counter intelligence

what lie CI? So far I have heard a lot of conspiracy theories from people like you but no evidence to support any of your claims. There is a reason even Romany has backed away from his original claims. because there is no proof to support them. As for the things you hold so "valuable" it is difficult not to seeing as it changes with each thread on that subject depending on which lie will best fit your needs.

    @George

The article was about projecting leadership - my comment was about Obama's history of questionable leadership. I did not "appreciate" Obama overtly lying about the Benghazi tragedy to avoid taking responsibility prior to an election.

Your playing the "have some respect" victim card is notable merely for its hypocrisy. Where exactly was your respect when you actively chose to use bogus "research" to censor things that were very valuable to me. (hint: non-existent)

I do not "appreciate" your history of intolerance in the name of tolerance either, which shows a distinct "lack of respect" - so I suppose we are even.

@George - by "show some human decency," you must mean "give Obama a pass on incompetence, deception, and dereliction of duty until the election is over." I'm not sure how that honors the memory of those who died in this tragic incident.

If raising the Benghazi incident as a complaint against the Obama administration is politicizing the issue, so is trying to deflect with cries of politicization by those trying to run out the clock.

I believe the administration's handling of this incident is a legitimate point to weigh when considering whether Obama has the leadership qualities to deserve a second term. To me, your comments deriding those who are legitimately concerned about the handling of this matter are no less of a politicization of the issue.

I really do not appreciate the two of you using this tragedy as yet another chance to take cheep shots to try to score political points against the president. For you show for once show something resembling common human decency.

Re: Counter Intelligence Salt Lake City, UT

What we are now hearing is that the former Navy Seal that went up on the roof to light up the enemy location with a laser was expecting it to be attacked by one of our missile. When it didn't happen the enemy was able to take out man out.

That is why the dead man's father has come out publicly about it.

What did Obama know, when did he know it, and who ordered our military to stand down when they could have saved our Ambassador's life?

  • Counter Intelligence Salt Lake City, UT
    Oct. 29, 2012 2:15 p.m.

Since it is now common knowledge that Obama watched Bengazi unfold via live action cam on a drone, withholding commands to rescue the ambassador, before having his minions spread the meme that it was all about a video, before heading to a Las Vegas Fundraiser: Any effort at "projecting leadership" is too little, too late.
