Look at how many have swallowed Obama's lies, hook, line and sinker. Look at how many are telling us that the White House had so many emails coming in that a direct attack on one of our embassies was somehow overlooked. Look at how many think, along with Obama, that the Americans are complete fools.

Enough is enough!

Obama lied to us. He and his administration have tried to cover up the terrorist caused deaths of four Americans. He and his administration either laid in their beds while we were under attack, or they conspired to tell us that a "movie" had incited a mob to attack our embassy.

They knew from the beginning that TERRORISTS were attacking. They knew from the beginning that NO MOVIE was involved. They lied to us. Some of you believe their lies. Some of you excuse their misconduct. Some of you accept that they continued to lie to us for two weeks after the killings. Some of you would accept anything that Obama says.

That is the whole point of the Washington Post article. He blatantly lied and you just don't care.

What a nation of sheep we are becoming.

Obama immediately sent his surrogate, Susan Rice, onto the talk shows the first Sunday after the attack to claim it was the video. Sending hench(wo)men to lie so he would not have to get too dirty, is a particularly cowardly form of lying
I assume you are not an Ostrich - therefore you can see it for yourself. Also; A good source is the timeline listed in Forbes (if that is not too right-wing for you to read)

@Phranc
Obama has refereed to generic "acts of terror" multiple times before and after September 11, 2012, and his story morphed as he went on Letterman, the View and the Daily Show, but he did not specifically call Libya an act of terror until two weeks after the event (after the video defense had completely crumbled) One good reference is the Daily Mail Thursday, Oct 25 2012
BTW: You are not in a position to lecture about lying

@Ying Fah
Does Stephanie Cutter email you the latest talking points?
Although I will offer my sympathy - it must be difficult for you to watch "the one" self destruct (no real help from me, Mountainman or Mike Richards required)

Are we to assume that even after two weeks, the administration did not know the facts concerning this? Because two weeks later, they are still saying it was a riot as the result of a video. If after two weeks they didn't know, that's even more scary because these people must have their head in the sand when it comes to foreign policy and events. This was a mess before and a mess after. The difference here is plain and simple. They lied and tried to cover up the fact that Al Queda was not dead, but still alive.

It seems that to deny terrorist activity has been a policy for some time now.

When a gunman opens fire (at a shopping mall etc) it has been hard to ascertain his name, cultural roots and opinions etc. We are told almost immediately that "we do not know why he did it" and even "we will never know" (!?)

When a militant shoots fellow soldiers in the presence of many others and there is no mystery whatsoever about the motivation it is described as a "work related" (not a terrorist) incident. We do our best to make it appear what it is not, and that it is not what it is.

This incident is more of the same "approach" to terrorism; as far as possible (and even beyond perhaps) officially deny terrorism and find very little if any. We killed one terrorism therefore terrorism is dead? No on ould say that but I think we are meant to believe it to some extent.

I don't even know how one could think it illogical that Obama was referring to the Libya attack as an act of terror when he uses the phrase act of terror in a statement about attacks on our embassies and consulates.

So what I want all of you to know is that we are going to bring those who killed our fellow Americans to justice. I want people around the world to hear me: To all those who would do us harm, no act of terror will go unpunished. It will not dim the light of the values that we proudly present to the rest of the world. No act of violence shakes the resolve of the United States of America.

As for the ones we lost last night: I want to assure you, we will bring their killers to justice. And we want to send a message all around the world -- anybody who would do us harm: No act of terror will dim the light of the values that we proudly shine on the rest of the world, and no act of violence will shake the resolve of the United States of America."

It is despicable that Romney (and Republicans) couldn't wait to politicize the deaths of Ambassador Stevens and other foreign officers. Americans should come together and allow the dead the dignity and honor of their sacrifice.

These emails don't change the story at all. Reports were coming in, data was being examined. The Pres and others spoke of acts of terror AND the unrest across Muslim countries associated with the video. It appears so far, the attackers in Libya took advantage of the violence/unrest in other countires as a cover. Even if a group claims responsibility, verification is required. It was/is a fluid situation.

Democrats just utterly fail at sound bites and talking points. Republicans just cant't deal with complexity and nuance, everything is a conspiracy.

Pathetic.
