Mid-November 8:30 pm starting times.
NICE.
Not only Mid-November....but have shifted from ESPN to ESPN U and ESPN 2.....not looking good!
Is ESPN phasing out of the agreed time slots?
Better to be on ESPN than be on a network that claims to have its fans' interests at heart, but half the fans can't see the games.
@old ball coach
Being on ESPN2 is just about the same as being on ESPN, it is on the basic tier of pretty much every system and is in almost as many homes. ESPNU is a step down but I doubt anyone even expected the game with Idaho to be on any of the ESPN channels anyway so once again it is good.

8:30 start times... no problem. Whatever it takes to get to the bowl game.
And what will the Utes do to get to their bowl game this season?
Win 4 of their next 5 games? LOL
"BYU football: ESPN announces times of Idaho and SJSU games" -- Breathtaking.
sammyg--What's hilarious, is UTAH did just that last year, winning 4 of 5, before winning their bowl game....And they've played against the #2 SOS nationally this year....Furthermore--
3 straight, 4 of 5, 8 of 11 and the overall record, 56-34-4--Priceless.

Better to actually win games on TV in front of a national audience no matter what network. More than half the nation does not care about watching BYU football.
Hey! You can redeem yourself against mighty Idaho and the rest on TV. Problem is, who is going to watch?
And you are 6-9 all time against San Jose St, and playing them on the road. A potential loss for BYU there.
Perhaps BYU should stick to playing unranked opponents on national TV. At least you have a chance of winning.
My comment is this, do you really want to publisize games against Idaho and San Jose State? This does not draw much of a national audience. Do these 2 games really help the Cougars on a national level? BYU has been on TV playing against enough top rated teams to make a statement. However, that statement was not very good. Maybe its time for the Cougars to think about joining the MWC or WAC at this point. My fear is that athletics at BYU are starting to die a slow death until they are gone.
