Krauthammer is a strange guy. No matter how much water they pour into his bucket, he just keeps trucking along.
I read this column a few days ago in the Washington Post. It was strange then and stranger now. But he's a trooper. It must be difficult writing a weekly column trying to build excitment about a turnip. However, in Utah this stuff is gold. You know, even before he sits in front of his computer and his fingers touch the keyboard, what his is going to say on any topic. A computer program would do as well and cost a heck of a lot less.
Does anyone actually read or listen to Chuck anymore?
How does this guy have any credibility?
Insistence that we attack Iraq, demands to attack Iran, accusation that it was the EPA's fault for BP's disaster, and now this?
Jay Leno and David Letterman could only wish of writing this much comedy! Hilarious!
I see that no one is willing to address the substance of Krauthammer's article.
Here it is again: Obama and his surrogates told the American people that the Benghazi attack was the result of a demonstration about a video. At the time they were saying this, they knew it to be false. They lied to us in order to protect Obama's re-election narrative that al Qaeda was on its heels.
This all happened in plain view of everyone. Going after Krauthammer's credibility will not work. We all saw Obama do it, and we don't like being lied to.
It is sad that when news of the ambassador's death was released, Romney campaign advisers thought "Hey! We can trump this up and try to get political traction out of it." It is a new low for American politics, necessitated by "the base" being less than thrilled with their candidate.
@Moderate
What's trumped up? An ambassador and three other Americans are dead. An embassy was burnt. It was a terrorist attack. Obama knew it, and lied about it. His lies were politically calculated.
There is nothing to trump up. The facts themselves are bad enough.
It was not a gaffe.
Which Romney decided, from the git-go, to politicize the deaths of 4 Americans.
