I wish that either candidate would please speak out against the Patriot Act.
I doubt more lies about Libya are doing to sway any voters...nice try Barack. Maybe Barack can smile and interrupt a lot ...that seemed to work pretty well for Biden!!! Oh and don't forget to be rude...that helps too!!! It shows toughness.
What a joke
Hopefully, there will be a discussion of important issues and not politicl rhetoric based on partisan posturing. There are those who already have decided the outcome of the debate several hours before it has occurred. Whatever is discussed, what ever is answered, the results will be according to partisan expectations. This, of course, is absolutely useless when trying to understand issues and possible solutions.
The partisans have their agenda. Whether Right or Left, the desire to "win" is great because with winning comes great rewards. The participants know this. Their handlers know this. Their surrogates know this. Their followers know this. And this is why is become ever more important to find a way for debates to cut through the chaff. It's a near-impossible thing considering what is riding on the result, but it would be nice.
The other problem in these debates is finding agreement on what is "true" and "factual" when so much is to be gained. Will the candidates (much less the partisan listeners) even concede a point if they make a mistake in their conclusions? Personally, I expect each side to rally around "their guy" and criticize the other regardless.

Obviously, your mind is made up. Probably made up four years ago and nothing could change it. That's OK. The partisan fringe is an essential part of today's political process. It helps us keep oriented.

I read the other day that JetBlue will fly those who's candidate loses out of the Country.
If I have to listen to 4 more years of "Obama is destroying the nation", from Tea-Party obstructionists who actually ARE ruining America -- may I come help you pack?
My question for Romney:
Gov. Romney you've proposed on your website to permanently get rid of the Alternative Minimum Tax.
You've also stated that you will keep taxes at the same level for wealthy Americans.
On your 2011 tax return you paid $674,000 in Alternative Minimum taxes. If you get rid of the AMT you will lower your tax liability by $674,000.
Name one change you would personally advocate for to keep your tax liability from decreasing, as a result of the elimination of the AMT.

Have you seen the latest electoral college count? Romney 206, Obama 201. It is only going to go down hill for Obama from this point on. Question now is whether this will carry over to the senate races. Nancy Pelosi can forget winning back the House.
