It is still only preseason but if Favors can't make a freethrow he will solve the coaching decision and he will be on the bench at the end of games and Millsap will get the minutes.

It will just turn into hack-a-shaq with Favors if the is shooting 50% from the line or less. Millsap will be the one getting starters minutes not Favors and Favors at this point does not appear to be showing much progress offensively. That is not good.

I'm pretty certain at this point Corbin will be starting and playing Millsap because he is a veteran player and Favors is still playing like a talented rookie which means he is highly inconsistent and unpredictable. Flashes of greatness mixed with stretches of head-scratching inconsistency.

Corbin is in the final year of his deal so he will be making short term decisions to win now and less concerned about the long term implications of who he is "developing" because without a deal he is not certain he will be here.

I try to remind myself that this is only preseason and doesn't really amount to much. The jazz have had awesome preseasons only to have some pretty poor play during the regular season. As much, I am still excited to see what the Jazz can produce this year. I was very excited with the trades that occurred and I would still like to see one more trade if possible. (Big Al) I think we are a solid playoff team with our depth and will make it past the first round, assuming everyone stays healthy. I have high hopes, but I am trying to keep my expectations to a realistic level.
