Most passing from any Ute in a long time. He will be fine.

Agreed. Best chance for success next year is letting Wilson get some game experience before next year. Besides, only Star and Christopher provide Senior leadership. This team is young. Take your lumps and come back stronger next year. BYU has a real Pac12 type schedule next year and no QB experience! Hope they have fun with that!

I agree that it is time to play Wilson and give him experience. Don't get me wrong, I love John Hays' attitude and he still brings a lot to the table, but Wilson is the future and it is time to give him experience.

It's engrained in their DNA; Utah fans just can't escape the fact that BYU is THE measuring stick against which all Utah accomplishments are measured.

Actually utah has 25 seniors this year and is a senior dominated team. Way to know your team and their situation.

LOL!

A math whizz noted "Utah has 25 seniors this year and is a senior dominated team."

25 seniors vs 97 FR/SO/JR, so seniors are about 20% of the team...
I don't think "dominated" means what you think it means.

SoonerUte, especially when 7/22 of the starting lineup are seniors, I think he means "dominated" like how BYU has dominated Utah this century.

Obviously, math has never been a strong suit on the hill...

QB Jon Hays-Sr
RB John White-Sr
F-B Luke Matthews-Sr
WR DeVonte Christopher-Sr
WR Reggie Dunn-Sr
TE Kendrick Moeai-Sr
OG Miles Mason-Sr
C Tevita Stevens-Sr
OG Sam Brenner-Sr
K Coleman Petersen-Sr
DT Dave Kruger-Sr
NT Star Lotulelei-Sr
MLB Boo Anderson-Sr
CB Ryan Lacy-Sr
P Sean Sellwood-Sr

FIFTEEN of 24 starters is Senior-dominated, no matter how you spin it.

Your starting QB, your best running back, your best wide-receivers, your best defensive player

And let's not forget key backups:

David Rolf-Sr
Dallin Rogers-Sr
Mo Lee-Sr
Reggie Topps-Sr
Keith McGill-Sr

Only a delusional Utah fan could look at that lineup and conclude that this isn't a Senior-dominated Utah team.

Uteanymous, could you list your source? Perhaps that was a list from Spring Camp? Things have changed. For example, right in the title of this article is says "Travis Wilson gets start over Jon Hayes".

When the very first thing on your list is completely and obviously wrong ("QB Jon Hays-Sr") it raises doubt about everything else you've written.

StGtoSLC
SALT LAKE CITY, UT

Uteanymous, Jon Hays is no longer starting
Luke Matthews is not a starter
Reggie Dunn is not a starter
Kendrick Moea'i is not a starter
Miles Mason SOMETIMES starts
Boo Andersen is not a starter
And Keith McGill is redshirting this year

"When the very first thing on your list is completely and obviously wrong ("QB Jon Hays-Sr") it raises doubt about everything else you've written."
...yeah. What he said.

Nice dodge, but when your one-game "starter" fails miserably, can you really claim that true "starter" isn't still Hays?

Regardless, the bulk of your proven best players and starters are Seniors. Any Utah fan claiming this isn't a Senior dominated team is simply living in fantasy land.

Kyle Whittingham said in today's press conference that Travis is the starter, but what does he know?

Six games into the season and we already have Utah fans throwing in the towel and looking forward to next season???

Sad!

It's going to be a long cold winter without even basketball to look forward to.
