Iran does indeed have a right to peaceful nuclear power. However given Irans support for Terrorism, and many statements to the contrary, such as Israel will be destroyed in a single day, no one trusts Iran nor are they willing to take that risk.
Let Iran benefit from nuclear power plants located just outside of its border. If all they really want is peaceful nuclear power, this should be enough.
Sounds like their worried that Romney will be elected. They are hoping to head that off so they won't have to deal with someone who is actually a leader!
