From a Cougar fan, I expect LK to put together a quality program that will do things the right way. Belated welcome back to the state of Utah. Best of luck in the new season coach.

Classy comment, and I think you're right. I believe LK is doing a great job with what he was handed. It will take some time but my bet is he'll make a lot of progress this year and will indeed turn the ship around with time. Despite the ugliest out of conference schedule I've ever seen, I'm actually quite excited to watch Utah basketball this year.

"Despite the ugliest out of conference schedule I've ever seen, I'm actually quite excited to watch Utah basketball this year."

Lone Peak HS could win 10 games versus Utah's OOC schedule, and that's not an exaggeration, but it would be nice to see LK get the Utes back to respectability.

btw, on a Toughness scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the toughest,

ESPN rates Utah's OOC schedule: 1
ESPN rates BYU's OOC schedule: 9

I haven't seen anybody's schedule rated a 10.

Good luck Utes.

I'm excited to see what coach K can do with this years Ute team.

I still feel bad about Foster going down with a bad foot again. He was a class act for the Utah program and has always had a good attitude through everything he and the team has been through.

I agree that their out of conference schedule is nothing to be proud of but I heard coach K address it on the radio the other day and I agree that he needs to focus on building some confidence with his team and helping them learn to play together. Their conference schedule will make up for weak opponents early on as I think the PAC will be much improved. There are only two returning players on this team so who knows what to expect. I'm hoping for more than six wins but I know it takes time to turn it around.

Go Utes!
