I see that the letter writer is from Murray. He must either be a former resident of Saratoga Springs or made the trip personally to this hamlet to research this information. I can't believe he got this information from some other source (Love Campaign)and the Deseret News thought it wise to print. A letter writer from the Saratoga Springs to say those things would have far greater credibility. Murray too is a fine town. Too bad we don't have Mayor Snarr running for Congress and the letter writer may have something good to say about him too.

Actually Christian, the top credit rating is AAA. AA+ is two steps down (AAA- being the step in between)

LDS Liberal

She RAISED taxes [3 times] and cut spending to balance that budget.

By Tea Party definition, she can not a REAL conservative because she raised taxes, period -
which makes her more of a Hypocrite, than Tea Party darling.

Why is it OK to raise taxes 3 times and cut some projects in Saratoga Springs Utah to balance a budget, and NOT OK for the Federal Government to raise taxes and cut some projects?

Again - Conservative Hypocracy.

does anyone else find it curious that all the letter espousing how great a mayor Mia Love was come from places like bountiful and murray but never from where she was actually mayor?

does anyone else find it curious that all the letters espousing how terrible Mia Love would be come from places like SLC and Farmington but never from where she was actually mayor?

LDS Lib,
We live in a republic. Ideally in a republic, more decisions are pushed to as local a level as can be accomplished, unlike the central planning you appear to espouse. What works and is good at a local level is not necessarily what works on a national level. I see you say nothing about balancing the national budget - nice OBVIOUS omission! leftist hypocracy?

You talked about raising taxes and cutting spending to balance a budget, you CERTAINLY are NOT talking about anything BO or his cabal have put forward. BO has NEVER proposed a balanced budget and the idea of a balanced budget is anathema to dems.

now I know someone will go off on that and say slick balanced the budget - not true - gross federal debt increased EVERY year slick was in office. you cannot balance a budget when gross federal debt increases. And it was a repub congress that drug slick kicking and screaming to lower spending that brought the budget closer to balance.

What are you, related to the letter writer or playing partisan politics? You don't even live in her city yet you're praising how great of a mayor she was?

I'm sure if she were Democrat you'd feel the same way, right?

See, this letter is a perfect example of the partisan politics we need to rid from our system. We need folks who care less about party and more about America.

Is Mia Love the best choice? I'd "love" to know. Unfortunately, in all the debates I've seen so far all she can do is blame Obama, run away from questions, attack the EPA, and give one lined conservative zingers. She lately has been called out by Lee Benson for her lack of accountability for her comments to him and sudden "inability" to communicate back with him.

Why is she running away from the media? Why is she running away from accountability? Why is she flip flopping? Stick to your guns! If you said that you were your families' ticket to America then stick with it! Don't flip flop or lie!

Mia, please explain why you should be voted for.

@lost in dc

why are you quoting one poster (spring street) then going off on another poster (LDS lib) about something that has nothing to do with the the post you quote?

tolstoy,
word limit. didn't have two words left so I could address "spring street". I guess if I had taken additional time to re-compose the message, I could have found two words, but it wasn't worth it.

sorry for the confusion.

Old man,
thanks again for showing the "tolerance" of the left. Someone does not agree with you, so OF COURSE, they must be deluded.

thats was not the confusion the confusion is that you quoted spring street and then went off on LDS liberal.

tolstoy,

the comments were not intended to be connected. The first was directed at spring street, but the 200 word limit prevented me from addressing him/her.

the rest of the comment was addressed to LDS lib.

And since I am limited to 4 posts, I did not want to use separate posts to address them indivually. Of course, I'll be out of posts now, but I'm done with this one anyway.
