Romney is committed to serve the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party. If elected, he will not be allowed to follow a moderate path without getting the wingnuts up in arms. The Republican Party doesn't want their candidate working with moderates. We've had two years of obstruction to make certain that "compromise" and "working together" are not in the Republican lexicon.

Republicans and Democrats can't be friends. They can't speak to one another. It is a Republican catechism that a Democrat is a Socialist and you don't do business with Socialists. Period!

You need Scott Howell in the senate, also.

No one who has to get permission from Nancy Pelosi to NOT vote party lines can ever represent Utah. His loyalties are to Pelosi, not to Utah. If re-elected, he can be counted on to do only one thing and that is to yell, "how high", when Pelosi tells him to jump.

He has shown where his loyalties lie - for twelve years. Romney doesn't need him and Utah certainly doesn't need him.

He needs to get rid of the radical tea party conservatives and replace them with moderates form either party.

If Obama wins, we need more committed leaders who will help to stop his destructive agenda. If Romney wins, we need more committed leaders who will help to reverse the destructive direction we've been headed in recent years. Matheson can't be reliably counted on for either case.

Actually that should read:

If Romney wins, we need more committed leaders who will help to stop his destructive agenda. If Obama wins, we need more committed leaders who will help to reverse the destructive direction we've been headed in during the GWBush administration. Matheson can be reliably counted on for either case -- he's an independent who will vote for the best interest of the United States and its people, and not along party lines. We need more people like him in Congress.
