The PAC 12 and SEC are the two best conferences. Utah's schedule looks awfully tough. Wins over Oregon State, UCLA and Arizona will not come easy. I would be pleased with a 8-4 record this year, considering. Going bowling is certainly not a given. A win over USC would be HUGE.
It's cool to be in a conference with so many teams in the top 25 from it. Unfortunately, we aren't one of them currently, but with the ups and downs of the pac 12, and all of the upsets that may possibly happen, we do have a chance to be one of those teams. There was alot of talk last year from SEC teams/fans, saying no one could touch them. I believe the PAC 12 could be on their heels. That's the fun part of college ball vs the NFL. So many factors and so many surprises. Love it!
The utes are over their heads. Time to get out of the kitchen.
Hey Kyle Whitt, I thought polls means nothing to you and why worry about it. Just play your game.

Unfortunately for U, the Utes are simply cannon fodder for the real teams in the PAC to pad their records.

...and yet the U still beat your team for the 3rd year in a row. Pretty sad when all you can do is revel in the hope that someone else can beat the U because the Y sure can't.
LOL

Pretty early in the season to make such a statement. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Utah is one game into conference play; a road game at that. One thing is for sure though, BYU padded Utah's record. Ouch! Thanks for the set up.

Bingo! Great minds think alike!
Funny Worf, I said the same thing about you.
@pebbles
That didn't even make any sense.
Ah Quakers is back; who am I kidding, he's commenting on Utah stories what seems like every minute of every day. Hey Duck, please tell me how BYU is so much better than Utah even though they can't beat Utah except maybe once in a blue moon. Sad isn't it that since your average at best Y team can't beat Utah you have glom on to teams, like USC, with the actual talent to do so. Enjoy the WAC play, especially San Jose State as they "own" BYU. Oh yeah, go Utes and Aggies (I graduated from both).
Utah, one game into the season, is already demonstrating the same pattern as last season, a big win over BYU, followed by blowout conference losses. The Utes simply aren't capable of maintaining the high necessary to beat BYU.
Utah fans don't understand the math of losing to division foes. The loss to ASU essentially puts the Utes two games behind the Sun Devils. A loss to USC will eliminate the Utes from any possibility of winning the division.
