"Many Democrats see a pattern of partisanship in many of the new election laws, which they contend are intended to hinder minority turnout and boost the prospects of GOP candidates."

WOW the left wishes to suppress the military vote while helping the illegal, non-citizen, felon, and repeat vote. (while maintaining racist stereotypes that assume minorities are not savvy enough to have a drivers license or id) Then they have the audacity to blame others for manipulating the vote.

Passive/aggression at its politically correct worst

@Counter Intelligence -- Why on earth do you think it is acceptable to say that these people, who you say are racial minorities, are illegal, non-citizen and or felons? Talk about racial stereotyping. Up is down in a world where helping people exercise their Constitutional right to vote is racist but calling them names is acceptable behavior. Contrary to your "knowledge" of these things, not every Hispanic person is an "illegal" and not every black person is a "felon" (or whatever combination of the two you are trying to say.) And by the way -- when ever did "the left" try to suppress the military vote?

Can anyone imagine the uproar if the LDS Church did something like this?

Once again – a double-standard.

It wouldn't be hard to see the pulpit message in a great many evangelical (and mostly white) congregations in the past few elections - GOP all the way! I'm not aware that ANY were ever fined or lost their tax deductible status as a result.

False, that Obama lawsuit against the Ohio law that had extended voting for only military service members is not being challenged by the Administration to get rid of it... but to allow early voting for everyone. There's no military voting suppression there at all except in the Romney campaign lies.

I didnt

I condemned those on the left who do

According to the article; Democrats oppose voter id laws etc, because they supresses minority votes - I was clearly condemning those racist assumptions
