Don't kid yourself. The only reason Utah is even being mentioned is because fans are wondering whether USC will bounce back from their meltdown against Stanford. The Utes are simply the cannon fodder for the Trojans to get back on track.

Sorry to burst your bubble but at least in this state far more people are paying attention to the BYU/usu game than the utah/usc game. The utah/usc game doesn't have much luster any longer and is only interesting in a 'point our fingers and laugh' sort of way.

That is laughbable but not surprising coming out of Happy Valley. Open a book, the world is bigger than Utah and Cache counties.
Just give in and embrace your envy.

I wouldn't count the Utes out. If the Trojans come in cocky and overconfident, they'll be surprised. Here's one Cougar fan who's rooting for a Ute upset. I want all teams that beat BYU to go on undefeated for the rest of their games and have winning seasons. It would look pitiful for BYU if all the teams they lost to ended up with losing seasons. So good luck to the Utes!
