Spanish Fork deserves some love! Blow out win over Juab puts the Dons in the driver seat for region title. The Dons' only loss was to Logan in a decent game. SF deserves Top 25 attention.
Being down 30 til the end of the game is not a decent game for SF. And being region champ doesn't mean anything in region 12 Delta is in 2nd and they are an ok team. And You were talking about stansbury not beating anyone??
Spanish Fork is better than Skyline. Skyline is 4-3 and barely beat Hillcrest. I also know that Dixie is a bit underranked. The Flyers are good.
good to see more 3A teams in the top 25. even more, two from region 9! I only see 5 teams competing for state in Hurricane, Dixie, Juan Diego, Stansbury, and Spanish Fork.
Much has been said about each region's strength. Using Parry's numbers to rate how each region stacks up in rank order with the region averages included in parenthesis. Since the playoffs generally take the top 4 teams in each region, I compared those as well.
5A: Region 3 (97.33), Region 4 (94.03), Region 1 (93.33), Region 2 (71.07)
When comparing the top four ratings in each region...Reg.1 (110.6), Reg. 3 (107.5), Reg.4 (102.7), Reg.2 (79.6)
4A: Region 5 (86.00), Region 6 (85.28), Region 7 (69.77), Region 8 (66.96)
When comparing the top four ratings in each region...Reg.5 (93.9), Reg.6 (89.6), Reg.8 (82.0), Reg.7 (81.1)
3A: Region 9 (78.70), Region 10 (57.20), Region 12 (51.62), Region 11 (51.00)
When comparing the top four ratings in each region...Reg.9 (88.9), Reg.10, (67.8), Reg.11 (66.7),Reg.12 (63.0)
