Finally a member of congress who knows how our congress should work, should we aid and comfort our enemies?
Let Egypt fall on its own sword, looking at the reports they have attacked our embassy, burnt our flag, made us part of their religion to kill us as infidels.
Should our white house give them our tax money to do it?

Wow, we really need to stop sending our tax dollars to countries abroad and instead use this money for something more productive like paying down our national debt. I'm surprised we as a nation are not more upset about this!

Moral here is simple Don't Mess with Texas :)

This Texas politician has my support and I only wish the upper levels of our current "leadership" would be making some effort to express the wishes of the people in this matter!

Good. Now if we can just block aid to Israel and all of these other countries that suck our coffers dry, we will be talking.

Good job, Texas!!! Now cut the strings to every single country that we have been supporting for the past 50 years. Someone recently said, "Stop paying everyone to hate us. They can now do it for free!!!" Does Washington really think that our check makes a difference? How embarrassing that we have no backbone left and the world sits and laughs at our stupidity.

Wow!! Someone slaps you in the face, and you want to give more money? Where is Obama getting the money?

Why not take money from his own wages and give it away.

Will the Obama supporters please explain this action?

With the struggles of our own country! Why give our tax money away? There has already been billions given away in the past few years. WHY?

Don't excuse this with George Bush.

Give away (money, blood, sweat, and tears) and FOR WHAT in return? Our reputation is shot; our dignity tarnished, our resolve diminished; and our country vulnerable to attacks. What kind of leadership would reward $450,000,000 to a "not an enemy" like Egypt in 2012, for not supporting the US, and just to appease them?

I, by no means, am a Obama supporter. Foreign Aid has been the status quo for decades. Marshall plan, anyone?

What about the photo of Rumsfeld w/ Saddam in the early 80's, the Reagan admin being chummy w/ Manuel Noriega, or even supporting Britian who had issues w/ Mosaddegh nationalizing Iranian Oil and eventually in came the Shah.

LDS Liberal & Srewdriver,

Where's your rebuttal? Soul has a good point. How do you defend this?

Pendergast,

I don't understand foreign aid given in the past either.

It doesn't justify the handouts of today.

Countries who burn our flag and kill our people,---qualify for benefits?
