For those of you who are unfamiliar with the likes of these football teams visiting. You are seriously in for a treat. Don Bosco Prep, out of N.J. has been an across the country High School Power for the last several years. St John Bosco out of California is a highly respected California High School football team. I have lived in Utah for a while and am originally from California about three city blocks down the street from St. John Bosco. In my opinion, this is an absolute clash of Utah's best against some of the best out of state HS football teams. To win these games or keep it close, should in no doubt put Utah HS Football even more cemented on the map. For Bingham to beat Valor Christian earlier this year, to have past victories from schools like Timpview, Cottonwood, AF, Alta, Bingham, etc. in states like Hawaii, Texas, California, Arizona, Mississippi, Florida, etc. To top it off with victories this weekend over national powers in HS Football would be fantastic. I am excited to say the least and wish Jordan and Alta the best of luck in these games.
St. John Bosco is a good program in Southern California. They are certainly not a top 10 team
In SoCal every year. I don't know what "test" utah's best means when you don't
Play the. Best in California.
@Corona although you are right about John Bosco not being the top ranked team in cali, they are ranked 5th in the state and 27th in the Nation (according to max preps) and 30th in the nation in multiple other ranking sites. Utah is trying to get some attention in the nation by beating nationally ranked teams. They probably know that they would lose to a team like Santa Margarita, one of the best teams in the nation. It should be a good game none the less and i can't wait to watch it. Unfortunate for John Bosco having to forfiet their previous games due to an uneligable player
They might be the best 0-4 team in the country. Alta is playing a powerhouse, Jordan is playing their little sister.
