The notion by some conservatives that we need to answer to Netanyahu, I just don't understand. We don't report to Israel. We are not their hired gun. We don't need to be drawing any red lines because they say so. They are not our only country we have responsibilities for.

Yes, we will protect Israel. Yes, we will stand side by side with them. Yes, our state department has nearly daily conversations with them on these subjects. But any notion Netanyahu has that we answer to them is a step beyond, and we as Americans are not going to shed our youth's lives for his political ambitions.

We stand with the people of Israel.

Of course if the President responded directly to criticism from any other world leader regardless if they were friend, foe, or who is that guy,he would be weak and an apologizer. Another example of Romneys pure political approach to the world.

Obama’s “Arab Spring” has become Obama’s mess in the Middle East! Could Obama’s appeasement and apology strategy to be more miscalculated and more wrong? Dangerous to America, dangerous to our allies and dangerous to the world! In the meantime, Iran is building nukes to use for their jihad holy war!

Romney put his foot so far in his mouth on this tragedy that he was able to get a pedicure and a tonsillectomy simultaneously!

When President Obama ran in 2008, he was a U.S. Senator and had some access to government Departments, Agencies and government intelligence information, that Governor Romney doesn't have access to. Now, the President of the United States of America Obama has every government resource available to aid him in his campaigning process. Governor Mitt Romney doesn't have that full access. Governor Romney may have great advisors and core beliefs of what is right and wrong but doesn't have full access to Classified and Sensitive information that the Government holds for the President.

President Obama is grasping at straws to show he is better than the Governor without telling the world in the same breath that the Governor is short of all the information. Even then, I still believe the Governor has better capability of leading then the current President. Governor Romney knows how to use the multi-faceted security and intelligence information as a fully resource for him. Business and government experience leading a State, Olympics, and the various industries, the Governor knows how to use to benefit the people, nations, and the International relations from his vast experience, not just the 1990s community organizing movement.

Screwdriver,
never ceases to amaze me how much lying you're willing to forgive BO of.

And talking about dying, US troops are dying at a faster rate in Afghanistan now than at any previous time.

BO dithered and people died. Doesn't rhyme, but there's more truth to it than in your comment.

And tell me, what effective leadership is BO providing when he cannot even recognize a terror attack? He and his cabal are loathe to even recognize a terror attack; they won't admit it when one happens, despite looking weak and foolish (which they are) to the entire world - and especially our enemies.

To "lost in DC" if you want to at least have a laugh at the liberals who ignore most everything that Obama does worse than Bush ever did, go to the Onion and read "Media Having Trouble Finding Right Angle On Obama's Double-Homicide". While it isn't true, it does reflect how liberals choose to turn a blind eye to Obama.

Remember under Bush, in 8 years we had 600 deaths and 3000 wounded in Afghanistan. Under 4 years of Obama we have had 1400 deaths and 15,000 wounded in Afghanistan.

Bush took 8 years to raise the debt by $4.8 Trillion. Obama did that in less than 3 1/2 years.

During the Bush administration we averaged less than 5% unemployment, under Obama we are averaging over 8%.

We can at some of the highlights of Obama's Presidency, such as the loss of the AAA bond rating by Standard & Poor's in 2011 which was again repeated last week by Egan and Jones.

Seems like liberals want a mediocre President who doesn't do things well, but tries hard.

From the article: "Obama defended his foreign policy successes, noting he'd followed through on a commitment to end the war in Iraq and had nabbed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden."

Yep – sure enough, bin Laden is dead, but al-Qaida is still very much alive.

The murder of Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens just underscores that point.

Redshirt,
yeah, it's interesting to see some of BO's TV ads and how they twist the truth or put lipstick on the pig. Romney says BO cannot claim we are better off now than we were when BO took over and BO takes objection to that. BO tries to talk about how much better off we are and how he stopped the bleeding.

I guess if 8.3% unemployment is better than 7.7%,

if trillion deficits are better than deficits in the hundreds of millions,

if more deaths in Afhganistan are better than fewer deaths,

if reduced international standing is better than world leadship,

if more people on foodstamps and government assistance is better than less,

if the worst recovery since the Great Depression makes one better off,

then yeah, BO can say we're better off than we were when he took over. But I reject those false ideas - in each of those areas we are WORSE off now than then.

VST,
one thing the article does not note, and BO and his apologizers ignore, is that the Iraq war ended on the timetable BUSH set. BO was negotiating to stay LONGER!

‘President Obama fires at Mitt Romney on Mideast’

That's crazy. Should be firing at the terrorists.

O'bama's foreign policy is a joke, especially in the eyes of other countries. He is neither equipped or capable of dealing with major issues. And for him to take any credit for the death of Osama is ridiculous. That was a ten year process and he lucked out on the timing. There is nothing that he did that accelerated the finding ben laden. BO (pun intended) was just fortunate to be in office when the CIA official located and identified him. To cite this as an accomplishment in foreign policy shows how little he has to point to.
