Israelis fear that Obama may take a harder line than Romney if he wins. Yes, that is true. I don't like the idea of a second term for Obama, but one advantage is that with his reelection out of the way that Obama may suddenly see the light and pressure Israel to do what is good for Israel: make peace while they are still ahead. If they merged their ecnomy with the Palestinians it would generate a lot of prosperity for both sides. Despite crushing sanctions, the Palestinian GNP is still 50% of Israel's. They must be full of enterpreneurs and the sort of small business owners tha create jobs and prosperity.

Israel is NOT A STATE.

They have no reason for us to give them money!

If you want to donate your own money to them just go ahead but it's completely unconstitutional for the US to defend Israel all the time as if it were a part of this country.

If they can't get along over there they can all move to the US. I gurantee the Lord doesn't want anyone killed for Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem according to the LDS faith is here anyway. So why threaten Iran?
