A typical inefficient government agency. Heavy in administrative spending and lacking where it is most important; giving workers the skills and whatever else is needed to get jobs.
I’m sorry John. Trying to take a state agency to task based on a 20 year old audit report, with NOTHING in the way of current facts or even anecdotal examples is the height (or low) of journalistic laziness. It’s just so easy to take potshots at any government agency, even if you have to base the potshots on a two-decade old report. If there is something of concern with the current DWS, then I’m willing to listen. But until they perform their job as poorly as you do, I don’t see where you have any room to complain.
