No wonder Attorney General Eric Holder didn't want to testify on this ill conceived plan that was horribly botched. In fairness to the Obama Administration I suppose the Three Stooges could have bungled it worse. Well, on second thought maybe not.

Our own Obama-led Justice Dept sending in federal agents armed with bean bag guns while supplying the mexican drug cartels with Assault rifles all in attempt to create an incident that would paint gun laws into a corner and the MSM avoids the story? Just goes to show that todays Media/Obama/Holder/Demclowns set a new standard in stupidity!

So let me get this straight:

Obama's Holder authorized Federal agents to only carry bean bag guns so as to not hurt any poor illegal immigrants on the border....Sound familiar ie Lybian Embassy....

Then Holder sold guns into Mexico so that they could trace the cartels or was it to create a gun incident to fake America into believing that Mexican Cartels were being supplied with american guns sold at american gun shows?.....forcing congress to create stronger gun laws.

Any rate our own DEA Agent was murdered by a gun Holders Admin had authorized and given to the cartel.

When congress investigated, Obama covered it up!

The top law enforcer in the United States of America was faulted in a formal report by the Justice Department's own Inspector General. This is a process that is scrutinized and is judged fairly through the process. Not very many Federal Inspectors General have done this type of judgment.

This is more of the same type of Justice we have seen in 3 1/2 years from this Attorney General.

This is a shame that a dedicated Justice Department employee was murdered when the workplace rules didn't give him a chance. Where is Justice for this man and his family?

President Obama has blamed everything, so far, on President Bush's administration. However, in this case, he can't blame President Bush's administration. That administration sort of tried a similar aspect but didn't work so they stopped that process.

The Secretary of State is pushing a plan so that the United States of America will get rid of small weapons for it's citizens so we won't have any deaths. That type of plan didn't work in this situation. We sold big weapons to drug lords who will do anything to protect their territory.

"The report did not criticize Attorney General Eric Holder, but said lower-level officials should have briefed him about the investigation much earlier."

Well duh. Gun Walking was a program initially authorized under the Bush administration in an operation called "Wide Receiver" in 2006-2007 and "Fast and Furious" was a continuation of that program in 2009. Claims Holder initiate this to go after gun rights is laughable and not supported by history.

The conspiracy theories are the only thing running fast and furious here. I would love to see one shred of evidence that this administration has done one thing to constrain the sale of guns. In fact, the sell of guns, largely spurred on by pseudo facts, has increased dramatically during this administration, and the publics ability to carry weapons of federal lands has actually expanded.

But we will ignore all of that so we can continue with this fictionalized world some have created to support claims of victimization of this evil socialist government that has ripped their rights from their hands.

Good grief... Obama didn't cover this up, and Holder didn't start this. Give it a rest.

Holder lied to the committee about not knowing. He holds some responsibility.

No border agent was killed under Bush. He has not been President for 4 years, Obama has, and is responsible for his administration.

WHAT NOW?

@prelapse

How many died on 9/11 under bush's watch?

He has not been the POTUS for 4 years...

Thank goodness.

@truth
maybe the r eon MSM is "avoiding" the "story" is because your little "story" about this being a grand conspiracy to take away peoples guns in nothing more then political hyperbole and has no basis in reality.

Truth--this was not stupidity on the part of Obama/Holder, and company. And, yes, Bush was not much better re: his 9/11 response, but at least he responded to the American people. One bad act doesn't justify another. The AP is not a valid source of truth or journalism. Why does the DN continue printing articles by them?
