Kid could have beaten mighty USC and be fighting with Oregon USC and Utah for the rose bowl , but I guess the idea of weekly firesides and losing to Utah was too much to pass up

To each his own i guess

Your season is over

We are going to Rose bowl.

Future of football in Utah is Utah.

No knack on Hill....but it is typical BYU fan that always announces people first, then year em down. As a BYU fan, I am sick of all the garbage. Heaps....fans said National championship then ran him out of town...Anae is the worst run him out ...now every blog wants Doman and bronco gone. Give it up people. Now, why are we annoying Hill so early? He hasn't done anything yet. Just let him play and relax before you all call for his had and say he is garbage.

I actually agree with Swish. I think his auto correct chaged a few words in his explanation. But gist is most, not all, BYU fans are always complaining and think the grass is greener. Both Doman and Bronco have acknowledged that fact. It's a demanding and involved fan base. And I agree that if someone isn't up to par....then people are a little quick to want a change.

Some fans already want Hill as they think Nelson doesnt have the arm. ridiculous. Hill does have huge upside, and looks like a stud....but like the Utes Wilson...not exactly sure what the future holds but looks good.

Let's go beat BSU and all will be OK IMO.

Oh, Chris, he could have chosen to be playing for fans like you. Whatever was he thinking?

Don't buy those greyhound tickets to Pasadena quite yet. If last weeks game showed just how good U are, I expect it will take more than one hand to count the losses.

But hey, USC already lost, so surely that will be a win for U, right?

Right, Chris?

He should have tasted more of it.

I wonder if Swish was trying to say BYU fans were head over heals about Heaps (National Championship talk etc.). Then after 54-10, they want heaps out and Riley in. Now after 24-21 they want Riley out and Lark in (or Hill). In similar fashion, Y fans couldn't wait to get rid of Anae and now that he's gone you can't wait to get rid of Doman. Classic "grass is greener" syndrome.

If you have any faith in Bronco you have to trust that he puts the best guys on the field based on what he sees in practice and in games. His ability to judge talent is much better than any BYU fan.

@y grad/ y dad

and if utah is that bad what does that say about your team? lol but on the bright side you already know what bowl game you can bok your tickets for, if you even get that far.. but with that scrimmage of a schedule for november should get you the wins you need.

Exactly, but I haven't gotten much traction trying to point out to Ute fans that obsess about "pathetic BYU" and "powerful Utah" that the results of the game would indicate that if the Utes are "rose bowl bound", it should indicate the cougars will fare well the rest of the season.

But logic is a short suit where Chris and some others are concerned.

Unless the qb is having a stellar season the most popular player in Provo is always the back up qb.

Chris, take away the 7 false starts and the miscommincation between Riley and the center, and the Utes would have been blown out. You did happen to have read the stats of the game, didn't you? BYU led by a big margin in the stats except time of possession. The penalties caused that. Of course, I'll have to hand it to your team and your fans - their actions caused a lot of that, and your fans almost cost you the game. It was a hard fought game and went down to the wire, as most of them have over the years. Good job Ute team - not so much Ute fans.
