Comments about ‘Romney: 'Great divide' exists over tax philosophy’

I make between about $125k and $140k, depending on the size of my year-end bonus. Mitt's tax philosophy would be to increase taxes on middle-income W2 wage earners like myself while completely eliminating taxes on capital gains earners like himself.

Why would I or anyone vote for Mitt, who proposes to completely eliminate his own Federal taxes?

So why did Obama take millions from us for vacations,and not pay taxes on it?

worf, I think we know what the Ten Commandments have to say about stealing. If the Obama family were "stealing" from taxpayers over vacations or anything else, we could be sure that Republicans would tell us, and they would be right to do so. But worf's lonely voice on the subject isn't backed by anyone, not even in the GOP. There is no evidence that the President is cheating on his taxes, as Nixon did. worf's just looking to stir people up over something he thinks they will understand.
