Once again, the teams to beat are Stanford and Oregon...two teams not on Utah's schedule.
I can't believe the luck of the Utes. Now capitalize it.
What happens if Oregon beats USC and Utah runs the conference table except a loss to USC? Utah does not play Stanford or Oregon.
According to ESPN, the Stanford game doesn't hurt USC's chance for a South Division championship. Can that be right? Can a 2-loss team advance over a 1-loss team if the 2-loss team had beaten the other team? Does not seem right.
Cowboy Dude, you are correct. An 8-1 team would be division champs over a 7-2 team, regardless of which division the respective teams lost to.
