They said that countries have the obligation to protect the embassies of foreign government. Those are diplomatic standards. In addition, it should also be stressed, Ambassador Stevens was there to help Libya, he had helped them during the toughest days of their revolt, risked his life to help them, by Arabic tradition they were obligated to protect him because he was under their protection. By their standards, it was an absolutely despicable act and the shame will be on both those who did it and on their tribe(s).
