This story is right about one thing, the amreican dream of freedom, independence, and pursuit of happiness has been squashed and forced out of existence. Political venues are trying to replace it with Socialism and dependence on welfare and governemnt rule.

They are trying to overthrow the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights and our separation of powers form of government. They are actives undoing the actions of our forefathers from 200 years ago and reestablish a Monarchy or Dictatorial government.

We and they all know it won't work though, but it does make a few people powerful and rich on the blood of its society just like governments of 2,000 years ago.

Did you know that Mitt Romney registered as a lobbyist for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee and was able to procure 1.3 billion in federal money (that's us taxpayers) for the Salt Lake Olympics? So it is not the story you usually hear. The Salt Lake Olympics was dependent on federal taxpayer dollars or it would not have happened.
Your2cents is living in fairy tale land. Nobody is wanting people dependent on the federal government, in fact, the democrats want the opposite. They just have different ideas about how to get there, and indeed, employment under democratic presidents in the past 50 years has always been higher than under republican presidents. That is a fact. Nobody is overthrowing the Constitution or Declaration of Independence or Bill of Rights. In fact, tell us specifically what you think is being done to accomplish that by this administration. Specifically. You can't, because it is not true.

Please tell us Kate, if Democrats don't want people dependent on the government, why do they purchase advertising to solicit food stamp applicants?

Guess what - everyone knows Romney requested money from the government to help with the Olympics, so not exactly the devastating revelation you probably expected. Romney's job as Olympics CEO was to make the Olympics successful, and profitable if possible As a sterling financial manager, he beat the bushes to get funding from a lot of different sources, and was ultimately successful.

When Romney takes a job, he learns what needs to be done to be successful, and gets it done. Learning the job has been too big a task for Obama, and he has failed on every economic goal, and placed our country at near financial collapse and national bankruptcy.

Funny how manageable budgets are critical for individuals, families, small towns and large cities, small business and large corporations, but are just an inconvenient nuisance for our federal government, despite a Constitutional mandate to create one. Apparently it IS true that the Constitution is being overthrown in this instance, and the economic consequences could be quite dire. $16 Trillion in debt - who cares!
