Comments about ‘High school football: Blake Barney comes up big for Flyers’

Great Job Dixie Flyers! Blake Barney, Lukas Hildebrandt, Tyson Graff were all outstanding and each made huge plays. Pine View you played well considering your starting QB was out, and you had to start over with your offense. Pine View gave Dixie all they could handle. It was just a great classic cross town rival game.

Pine View started strong but had no gas in the tank for the second half. The PV defense could not get off of the field to regroup. The offense was too predictable. Miller was fatigued and could not elude anyone in the 2nd half.

PV offense has no creativity they are very easy to figure out. The Irony of this is they looked like Dixie's offense 6-10 years ago. Very predictable. Dixie's offense looked like PV did 6-10 years ago too many weapons to stop.

I know PV quarterback is out for a few games and that may help when he comes back. They are lacking in quality receivers. They seem slow and small.
