byu is looking like garbage so far after the first quarter
No problems here. Just make sure there are zero injuries!
BYU is starting to the the offense going; but, yes, they look like garbage offensively. The big concern is the offensive line. They haven't been run blocking very well. Nor have they been pass protecting very well. Weber St. does have a pretty good front four, but still.
Defense has been fairly solid, though. For the most part they've held Weber St. to 3rd-and longs, which kept them from converting any 3rd downs until here in the 2nd quarter; and both of those were 3rd-and-two situations. So, if the defense can force Weber into trying to pick up more than 5 yards on 1st down, they should keep the Wildcats from going anywhere.
Good grief. Horrible error in my last post. Hate to see that. Correction: If BYU's defense can force Weber into trying to pick up more than 5 yards on THIRD down, they should keep the Wildcats from going anywhere.
