"no common sense" that is sooooo typical of the baseless criticisms of our amazing president.
Being a patriotic American means accepting the will of the people, even if the poor-sport in you soooo wants to be right.
Common sense is oozing from our wonderful leader and people in Utah seem to be immune to his Christlike platform.
Lets break down that comment
"President Barrack Obama has a great personality but no common sense."
Subjective and open for debate
"Mitt Romney has common sense but not a great personality."
Subjective and open for debate
"They are alike in one way: all promises but no specifics."
Finally, a fact
This is true. Unless the American people wake up and start demanding better than this from most politicians, including the two main presidential candidates, nothing will change.
Watch the speeches last night? Obama has been dealing with the issues while Romney has been taking shots from the cheap seats and managing his secret foreign investments (not even working in either a for profit or à nonprofit organization in a constructive role. He is the stereotype of the coupon clipper, sitting back and playing with his money and not contributing to making society better. ). On that basis alone, we are better off re-electing the President.
Fact checker showed that lies were told last night at the convention. Lies don't fix things. Having someone in the Oval Office who has no business experience, when BUSINESS is the root of our problems, is not going to fix things. Having Obama, who is seeped in leftist rhetoric and has been seeped in leftist rhetoric since his birth, as our President, will not fix the problems that we face in America.
A leftist President might do well in South America or in Africa, but not in America, where the people are seeped in independence FROM the government. Obama has nothing to offer. He has proved that. Romney has something to offer. He saved the 2002 Olympics. That's a fact that anyone can check. He has saved company after company. That's a fact that anyone can check. Tens of thousands of Americans have a job, thanks to Mitt Romney who fixed the problems found in their company. They have homes and security.
Thousands of Americans have lost their homes because of Obama. That's a fact that you can check.
With your job and your house on the line, who do you want "fixing things"?
Obama has "no common sense"? Ask Bin Laden and some Somali pirates about that - if you can. No common sense? Ask the parents of a child who would have died because of a lack health insurance coverage due to a preexisting condition. No common sense? ask the troops who have come home from Iraq. No common sense? Poll the world community about that, not just Fox News ditto heads. No common sense? Ask the Auto workers at GM and Chrysler about that.
It seems to me that those who think the President lacks common sense -- lack common sense.
You really believe Romney has common sense? Perhaps the Romney who was governor of Mass. but not the guy running for President.
The difference is that Mr. Obama's "solutions" have been shown to be ineffective. Doing things in the same way and expecting difference results is not hope, it's insanity.
Common sense? Yeaaaah... Mitt and his GOP nutcakes surely have that...
Give millionaires and billionaires more handouts while passing the weight of those handouts onto the disappearing middle class. All while cutting critical social programs to the poor, hungry, students, and old.
Genius.
Common sense would dictate that after 10+ years of record tax cuts to the rich and horrible job creation, that we get rid of those tax cuts.
Sadly, common sense is what Mitt lacks.
"The difference is that Mr. Obama's "solutions" have been shown to be ineffective. Doing things in the same way and expecting difference results is not hope, it's insanity."
Exactly.
So, lets go back to the solution of further cutting taxes, increase military spending, remove regulation and put our healthcare system back to where it was.
Lets restore the sanity. The results will be different this time.
The republicans don't offer empty promises.
They have proven to bring us war, loss of personal freedoms (choice), reduce consumer protection, eliminate the EPA, DOE, and they will raise taxes on the middle class.
Mike Richards said:

Not the guy who would fire me then foreclose on my home to increase his bottom line.
I want the guy who believes in American workers and didn't "let Detroit Fall."
I want the guy who believes that American is Exceptional, Not that American is infallible.
I want the guy who worked hard to keep America afloat, while the republicans turned the canons on the deck, and abandoned America with there policy to obstruct.
I want the guy who got Bin Laden, Not the one who said it wasn't worth the money and time, but somehow supports both wars?
Let's ask the 23,000,000 Americans who are out of work whether they can survive another four years of Obama. He doesn't even count them in his unemployment figures if they no longer receive unemployment payments. They don't count. They have the same value to him as his brother, George Obama, who lives in a slum in Africa. That's what Obama thinks of those whom he has ruined by his policies. They don't exist, as far as he's concerned.
Let's ask the 46,700,000 Americans who live on food stamps what they think about Obama's "change". He changed their lives. He flies around in Air Force One, telling college students that they shouldn't have to pay back their student loans while 46,700,000 Americans can't even afford to feed themselves! How's that for "change"?
Obama stole G.M. from its owners and gave it to the unions. The owners got nothing. The 5th Amendment to the Constitution says, "nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation", but that didn't matter to Obama. He took their property without compensation.
The country deserves another 4 years of Obama if a liberal dead horse candidate like Romney is the GOP's answer to him.
The GOP is way too moderate and hypocritical. They don't love America and it shows when they nominated a RINO like Romney
Obama would be in the white house through proxy with Romney.
Romney will not repeal Obamacare
Romney will not repeal NDAA
Romney will not cut spending. The debt will be 21 trillion when he leaves office.
Romney will start more pointless wars
Romney will not restore habeus corpus and due process in this country by not repealing the patriot act.
Have fun with the obama clone Rino president.
Okay, what would you like Obama to have done? Here are the facts:
The world wide financial crisis hit many nations, including most of our European allies. So we have a wonderful test case against which we can measure his Presidency. Great Britain, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Iceland, let's say. They were all hit by the same set of circumstances, and struggled with the same issues, including high unemployment. So how does Obama compare?
Really really well.
Better job growth than any of those countries. Lower unemployment; much lower in most cases. Deficits about the same, as a percentage of GDP.
Bill Clinton got it right. The Republican line is "we handed you a terrible mess, and you haven't completely cleaned it up in four years, so put us back in power." I would add, "and nobody else has cleaned their mess up either."
Mike Richards is at it again. "Thousands of Americans have lost their homes because of Obama."
Because of Obama or because of unregulated market speculation on Wall Street?
Someone, anyone help me out. What was it Reagan said about the status quo?
Because of a near bankruptcy and melt down of the banks, a slow recovery is economic reality for both sides. Romney pledges not to use government to assist in the recovery, so his will be slower and more painful. We need to work together and excuse the conservatives and Bush for letting this happen.
The sub prime was Clintons.
Obama is a personality, Romney has smarts. I don't care about personality if the other person can fix this mess.
Obama killed Bin Laden and some Somali pirates? Not according to some Navy seals.
The convention did bring us Romneys five point plan, Obama said he'll do things to fix it. I'm not sure he wants to win. He was a different speaker this year compared to 2008.
Romney has given us his plan. It is available for free on amazon. The book is called "Believe in America".
Obama has done nothing to help create jobs since he was elected. His stimulus was nothing
more than a payback to all those who helped get him elected. He has regulated private industry to the point where they are afraid to hire and invest. Once Romney is elected, and the chains that bind small business are loosed, our economy will come back, finally!!
Those who speak against him are either Ron Paul supporters (who will do to us what the Ross Perot vote did-give the democrats 4 more years) or paid by Obama! Anyone with the least amount of curiosity can see that our President is not who he says he is.
