I fail to see how raising taxes on the rich (expected to raise $87 billion) will help our economy at all! What would this money be used for? Balancing a budget that overspends by $1 Trillion? That doesn't work.
Maybe the plan is to give it to the poor or middle class. What would this amount to, a few $ per person? Won't help.
Maybe the money will be used for Obama's crony capitalism where he enriches his friends. Now there the $87 billion would go a long way.
Obama & the Democrats dont have a plan or a clue as to how to improve the economy. They have done everything they cod think of & we are still at great risk of dropping into another recession, anemic "growth", unemployment inching towards 8.7%, with gas & food prices climbing (Obama said he wanted gas to be $4-5/gal).
Vote Romney.
He's had four years, the future looks worse unless we get a change in Washington.
David,
I fail to see how lowering taxes for the rich will help. They haven't created quality jobs in America as promised with the previous 30 years of tax cuts. They have continued to move more and more money off shore but to their credit they have created a lot of jobs in third world countries were labor costs are practically zero. When will they create jobs in America, when we take their taxes to zero, and get rid of the minimum wage and 40 hour work week?
