I like the idea of a health insurance voucher for those that need it. Then the individual could purchase the kind of health insurance that best fits his or her needs. I don't think that most Americans are so mentally incompetent that they are unable to make that kind of decision for themselves. I don't want a Washington bureaucrat to determine what health care I receive. If Obamacare is a good program, then why did the president and every senator and congressman who voted for the bill exempt themselves from it? How stupid do they think the average American is?

By giving billions of dollars to Finland, Mexico, China, Japan, Brazil, Australia, and the Muslim Brotherhood. Obama has created many new jobs.

Just think of all the college tuition, and healthcare this could have provided here. I guess we can pay a little more.

I've seen and heard enough the last four years to last a lifetime. I won't be listening to the "hype" next week from the DNC. I know that our country would be painfully weakened with the re-election of this current president. Watching his disdain and dislike of Christianity for one has been sickening as we watched the gradual dismantling of our values and standards as a nation. Executive over-reach, and ignoring the Constitution of the United States in doing so, speaks louder than any fancy word speeches.

It's time to move on and elect proven leaders who actually have some credentials to run the economics of this country. The other side will demonize and criticize the GOP. They will say and do ANYTHING to get elected. We will stay focused on the inspiring messages of last week and move forward to November 6th.

May God bless America! May we be repentant as a nation, turn to God, and strive to do better.

Romney's record on jobs creation is pathetic!

Why on earth does he think he can spin that to his advantage?

Because Republicans will believe anything their authority figures tell them.

Despite all the sniping and nonsense about religion under attack (always the victim...) I'm comfortable that we will be better off with President Obama.

"Romney's record on jobs creation is pathetic!'

Romney's not even the president, and yes, turning a state from deficit to surplus is more then Obama has done.

Hutterite,

I hope you get what you're comfortable with, but it's too bad the rest of us will have to suffer with it. What did Obama do with our added trillions to the debt, and stimulus? He should account for that and Solyndra.

Hutterite,

Explain the comfort you have with Obama.

How can anyone trust Obama?

In his book, Barack states his pride towards his father fighting in World War 11, but according to the birth certificate he released, his father was only three years old at the time.

Obviously, JSB, you have not had a simple macro-economics course (or if you did, you did not pay attention). If you had, you would know that if you hand everybody a voucher, say worth $5,000, the cost of healthcare will goes up by almost exactly $5,000 across the board, remaining the same distance out of reach for poorer people. The only winner is the healthcare industry.

By the way, the claim that government officials "exempted" themselves from the ACA is patently false. Please refer to Factcheck regarding your red-herring claim.

Re. Taxman. Health insurance vouchers wold only be provided to those individuals or families whose income falls below a certain level, not everyone. You're right, I didn't fact check about who exempted themselves. I read it somewhere and it stuck.
