A parent's right to know is powerful. WVC must have a very good reason to override that important right. The problem is we have to trust them. That can be a good or, or a bad thing. We don't know for sure Has WVC done anything in the past that warrants our mistrust?
We all know Josh Powell murdered his entire family. We all know WVC tried to get enough evidence to convict him but was unable. I'm curious, what more does Susan's family think they can learn, especially from WVC?
It wouldn't surprise me if the "ongoing investigation" had something to do with Steven Powell. I have long thought that he knows a lot more than he's saying. If that is true, it is much better that the investigation evidence stay sealed so Steven Powell doesn't get a chance to know exactly what the West Valley Police know (and shield or hide his involvement as a result).
